The area known as "Holland's Water Garden" lies just 20 miles south of Amsterdam. It is an area of exceptional beauty and provides the ideal relaxing retreat from which to explore not only rural Holland, but also the busy and popular city of Amsterdam.
ITINERARY
Day 1: Early afternoon departure to Hull for the overnight crossing with P&O ferries to Rotterdam. Accommodation is in en-suite cabins. (Floor-bedded cabins have been requested for all.)
Day 2: Rejoin your coach and travel to Loosdrecht. Arrive early afternoon and relax for the rest of the day.
Day 3: A full day excursion to Amsterdam. See Dam Square, wander along the canal side streets or visit one of the world-class museums.
Day 4: Canals and coastlines today with a scenic excursion through the striking Dutch landscape including stops in Edam and Volendam, two of Holland's most picturesque towns.
Day 5: Enjoy free time in Loosdrecht before returning to Rotterdam for the early evening sailing to Hull.
Day 6: Arrive Hull and make our homeward journey.
